» Expert Tip: Why Temperature Controlling is so Important and How to Get the Right Accessories
| ZEISS Metrology Expert Tips Digital Temperature Sensors from ZEISS | | | | Dear Blabla,
One of the biggest influences on the measurement result is not visible to us: the temperature of the component to be measured. That's why Aline Nehm, in the latest ZEISS Metrology Expert Tip video, gives you three tips on how to digitally control the temperature to ensure reliable measurement results.
For all those who have not yet ordered from the ZEISS Metrology Shop: Tuesday in two weeks, Anna Kircher will show you how to quickly register in our ZEISS Metrology Shop. Then you can easily order ZEISS Temperature Sensors and all other ZEISS Accessories via the store in the future. | | | | The Importance of Workpiece Temperature
Temperature influences all components involved in the measuring process. The different behavior of materials with temperature changes plays a particularly important role here. As the temperature increases, components expand differently depending on the material. This means that they change their component geometry and thus influence the measurement result.
Let's assume that the temperature of a workpiece with a length of 1 meter increases from 20 °C to 21 °C. If the workpiece is made of steel, it will increase in length by 11 µm. If the material is aluminum, the component expands by 24 µm. For this reason, temperature control is essential for all measuring processes.
If you click on the button below, you will be taken to the different ZEISS Temperature Sensors that ZEISS offers for various applications. | | | | Precise greetings from the ZEISS Metrology Shop Team | | | |
